What to include

To help us investigate quickly, include:

  • Your macOS version and CapitalProof Tax app version.
  • The screen where the issue happened: Import, Ledger, Problems, Exports, or Help.
  • The exchange CSV format involved, without sending private keys, passwords, or seed phrases.
  • A short description of what you expected and what happened instead.

File import and export support

CapitalProof Tax is designed to import user-selected CSV files and export user-confirmed PDF, CSV, and ZIP evidence packs. If a file cannot be imported or saved, include the file type, exchange name, and any visible error message.

Privacy and data deletion

Imported files and exported reports may contain sensitive financial information. Do not email private keys, seed phrases, exchange passwords, or full unredacted financial records unless you are comfortable sharing them with support. To clear local app project data, use the Help & Legal screen inside the app and choose "Clear local project".

Not tax advice

Support can help with app behavior, import issues, and export issues. Support cannot provide tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice. Review all exports with a qualified Australian tax professional.
